The Traer Theatre is a community-owned,
non-profit organization, operated by a
volunteer Board of Directors. It was created
for the purpose of providing an affordable
movie theatre, for the benefit of the
public.
The theatre was made possible by the hard
work, dedication and financial donations of
dozens of Traer area residents and
businesses.
The concession stand and ticket sales are operated by volunteers for every show. If you are interested in helping make the theatre a success, contact our Manager,
Shelly Young, at 319-350-3185 (E-mail: Theatre@Traer.net),
or stop by the theatre during show times to
sign up.
Please help support the theatre in any way
you can, so we can keep this valuable asset
alive in Traer.
Our goal is to offer quality first run films (usually 3-5 weeks after initial release) at an ADMISSION of $1.00 for all shows.
Showtime's are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Nights at 7PM, with
Sunday
Matinees at 2PM. Tickets go on sale 45
minutes prior to show and Seat Savers are
available for .50 cents.
Look for an additional showtime starting
January 8, 2008. An additional show
will be added to the regular schedule on
Tuesday evenings at 7PM.
Seating Capacity is 144,
with additional space for individuals in wheelchairs or with disabilities.
Our auditorium features a state-of-the-art DOLBY DIGITAL Sound System, donated by Farmer's Savings Bank and Trust - Traer.
Did you know you can rent the Traer Theatre
for private movie showings? Keep us in
mind for the next birthday party, family
gathering, or other occasion. Contact
Shelly Young, Manager, at 319-350-3185 for

Please support the local businesses that provide our on-screen advertising. They help keep your movie-going experience affordable.
